Maybe I was doing something wrong? I dont know, but I had to hold a lighter to the tablet for around 1 minute to get it to burn.br /br /Once the fuel tablet was burning, it lasted for about 10 minutes. Which was plenty of time to boil some water and cook one pack of noodles.br /br /If you are looking for an inexpensive folding stove – sure why not.br /br /If you can afford a liquid fuel stove, you might want to go that route. The solid fuel tablet put off a chemical smell. I do not know if the fumes from the burning fuel can get into your food. But I would not want to eat off of this thing on a regular basis.br /br /Overall, it would be fine for a lightwieght camping hiking trip.br /br /The thin sheet metal cools off fast. /p
