I’m glad I did.br /br /The built-in foot pump is a lousy way to inflate this item. There doesn’t seem to be a check valve to block the air you’ve just pumped in from coming out again. You can use the foot pump to put enough air in so that the vinyl starts to take the general shape of a bed.br /br /Once you’ve done that, you can finish filling at the exhaust port. This opening does have a flapper or check valve to keep air you blow in from escaping. If you’re keeping it inflated for more than 3 days or so, you’ll need to refill it a bit to maintain air pressure. The flocking is very comfortable. br /br /Dimensions: 74 x 54 x 7/p
