The overall quality was poor, the case was complete junk, and the tool didn’t have nearly as many features. br /br /The real Leatherman was more money but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. The quality of the tool was quite remarkable and I am glad I spent the extra money. The tool itelf is made in USA but the leather case is made in China and it was quite stiff. I’m sure I could have used some sort of oil to soften it up a bit but instead I bought the nylon case separately and I really like it. Both the leather and nylon cases have the hole in the bottom, which enables you to store the tool on your belt with the pliers sticking out. This is a nice feature when you are using the pliers a lot./p
