I put the phone in the pouch and place it on center console or a cup holder and it protects the phone yet allows the ringtone to be heard. I have tried a number of different items for such a purpose but find this one is really superior. It cushions the phone yet fits snugly enough to put in my shirt pocket if necessary and will absorb bumps and hits when in a back pack, cup holder, or clipped to belt. br /br /This is a quality product at a reasonable price that will do the job of protecting small electronic devices exceedingly well. Not a lot of bells and whistles…just a quality product that works! /p
