Negative. The SwissFlash is certainly more $$$ than other thumb drives with the same capacity. But I will say that this drive has two things above the competition: durability and style. While I don’t always care so much about the latter, especially when it comes to something utilitarian like a thumb drive, there is a simple elegance to the Victorinox design that one normally doesn’t see with this type of product. But more importantly, I don’t worry about carrying it around on my keychain or in my pocket all day. The drive has a reasonably strong shell around it that keeps the electronics safely tucked out of harm’s way. I’m sure some of the finish will wear off with time, but the overall construction seems solid to me. br /br /This model does not have the knife, scissors, laser, or LED light. It’s just the bare-bones drive, which is exactly what I wanted. I carry a small knife and/or multi-tool with me every day, along with a single AAA-cell flashlight, so these features were unnecessary for my purposes. I just wanted a fairly rugged drive to carry along everywhere. While somewhat expensive, the SwissFlash is a good choice in my opinion. /p

It is more than 1 thick, but it not too heavy. br /br /I own a number of multi-tools and Swiss Army knives and this is my favorite for every day use. The pen, standard Phillips, flat heads, flash light, scissors, and wood saw are all useful to me on a daily basis. These are the features I need without the tools that increase the size and weight of some of the other pocket knives. IMHO if you want a wrench with your SAK, buy the Spirit (which I also own.)br /br /Here is my break down on how to select a tool.br /br /Spirit or Wave: either will work for you if you need a tool for moderate loads with locking tools. I prefer the Spirit as a stand-alone tool; and the Wave for the extensions. A pouch is preferred.br /br /CyberTool 29: for small electronics work. This is the right size for pocket carry. It is only missing the scissors for completeness. The scissors are available in the CyberTool 34, but I can’t justify the size and weight created by the wrench.br /br /Executive or Manager: these are great choices if you wear dress slacks.br /br /Huntsman Lite: covers a lot of territory without being excessive. I wear jeans to work. So, this works for me.br /br /BTW: One reviewer complained about the thinness of the pen and how painful it was to use. Might I suggest the following. Lift up the corkscrew and place the pen in the slot that extends from the corkscrew though the end of the pocket tool. Then close the corkscrew to lock in the pen. Now the tool acts as a handle for the pen. I think the slot was designed for the pen. The pen is very secure and works well. I’ve taken notes for more than an hour without any wrist strain.br /br /Enjoy./p
