Negative. The SwissFlash is certainly more $$$ than other thumb drives with the same capacity. But I will say that this drive has two things above the competition: durability and style. While I don’t always care so much about the latter, especially when it comes to something utilitarian like a thumb drive, there is a simple elegance to the Victorinox design that one normally doesn’t see with this type of product. But more importantly, I don’t worry about carrying it around on my keychain or in my pocket all day. The drive has a reasonably strong shell around it that keeps the electronics safely tucked out of harm’s way.
